Nielsen U.S. Beverage Alcohol Practice
Danny Brager is the Senior Vice President of Nielsen’s Beverage Alcohol Practice Area in the United States, supporting relationships with Nielsen’s many Beer, Wine, and Spirits clients, as well as with key industry groups and the media. In this role, Danny and his team supports the differentiated needs of Nielsen’s Beverage Alcohol clients, and provides business information, analysis and insights, focusing on the U.S. retail environment and consumer/shopper – who they are, what they buy, and why. Danny has well over fifteen years of experience specific to the Bev Al industry, and for the past 30 plus years has held a variety of marketing and sales positions with Nielsen in both Canada and the United States. He is also a member of the Wine Market Council Research Committee and is on its Board of Directors. Danny is a frequent speaker at a large number of client and industry events on the subject of Beverage Alcohol retail and consumer trends., and was recently appointed to also lead Nielsen’s Cannabis Practice.
Danny holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration from York University in Toronto, Canada. After residing in Western Canada for most of his early years, and then moving in Toronto, he and his family then relocated to Southern California in the mid-1990’s where he lives today.

Rob has been thrice named as one of the Top 50 Most Influential People in the US Wine Industry, the only banker ever recognized. A frequent media commentator, international conference speaker, lecturer at several West Coast universities and regular blogger, Rob’s informed opinions are trusted by wine producers, importers and financiers alike. He has been authoring Silicon Valley Bank’s views on the industry, as well as the highly regarded State of the Wine Industry Report for over 20 years. In addition to his public role, today within the bank he is responsible for new business while maintaining direct client relationships throughout the wine portfolio. Rob has served on a variety of board capacities over the course of his career in diverse industries, and continues to do so today within the wine space.
